BASKING RIDGE, N.J., Oct. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Collabera is excited to announce a new partnership with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation. This partnership is intended to make Collabera more eco-friendly.
As a charitable environmental leader, One Tree Planted has doubled the number of trees planted each year since being founded in 2014, In 2020 alone they planted 10 million trees. They have created jobs and rebuilt communities while helping to restore and protect wildlife habitats. Collabera is now working with One Tree Planted to increase environmental awareness and promote healthier global climates.
The joint program includes projects that have a global, local and individual impact. At the community level, Collabera is funding the planting of 1,100 fruit trees in the Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh Indian regions – promoting sustainable biodiversity, community, and soil and erosion control impacts throughout the Villages of Palwal. To reduce transportation costs and increase sapling acclimatization, two nurseries will be built in the communities where fruit trees will go. Collabera is a global initiative that will eliminate paper business cards and transition to digital alternatives for employees. To celebrate this significant change, Collabera has committed to plant an additional 500 trees to countervail the number of business cards printed over the past 25 years. Collabera will also be showing our gratitude for our enterprise clients by planting one tree per candidate hired in 2021.
Collabera will continue to pursue additional sustainability goals. Collabera’s Chief Operating Officer Karthik Krishnamurthy has stressed the importance of being an eco-friendly company. This priority will continue to gain momentum over the next months. KK said that the One Tree Planted partnership was a great opportunity to promote reforestation around the world. It is crucial to support and establish environmentally responsible efforts. We are proud of our efforts and encourage others to think about what they can do to help save the planet.
Collabera will continue adopting eco-friendly operations to minimize the negative impact on the environment. Collabera believes that together we can have a greater effect on the environment as we reduce our carbon footprint. “
