Agra, Uttar Pradesh Oct 13, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – SGADF organized the 6th Indo Nepal championship with great enthusiasm and joy Nepal SGADF collaborated with school games and activity development foundation (SGADF) and conducted the tournament from 3rd October 2021 to 7th October 2021. Five games were played by Indian players: shooting, basketball, badminton and athletics. Competitors won medals in a variety of games, adding laurels to India. The nation is proud that Shivam Thakur won the gold medal in shooting. This is not for the first time but the 4th time that he has backed a gold medal in 10m pistol shooting after making India proud in Srilanka, Malaysia, and Bangladesh in county games. By winning the medal in Nepal he has confirmed his selection for the Asian Games which will be held in Abu-Dhabi from 5th November 2021 to 9th November 2021. He is also our hope to be a part of the world games in January. India has won four gold medals in badminton and three silver medals in singles and doubles. We have also been proud of our Indian girls who won a silver medal for basketball.
Unfortunately, our Athletics and kabbadi players had a sinking feeling as they tried their best but we’re unable to win a medal. Overall, the players did a great job and made us proud.
SGADF is a non-profit & non-governmental organization, whose mission it is to promote games, physical education, sports science, research, youth & social activities at the national and international levels in order to spread the Olympic Movement & Olympics and realize Barron Pierre de Coubertin’s dream. The School Games & Activity Development Foundation was established to provide programs in sport, events, social events and health. The association’s role is to help children, adults, and disabled people, as well as professionals, prepare for their futures. This will allow them to compete at state, national and international events with greater confidence.
The association believes passion is the essence of all sports. Nothing is more important than a passion for the sport you love. The school games and activity development foundation has its Endeavour plans to create academies in every corner of the country, support talented players, fund promising players, sponsor indigent athletes, organize camps or classes, provide infrastructure, equipment, and other activities. School games & Activity does not discriminate on the basis of religion, race, creed, color, or caste.
School Games & Activity Development Foundation, an India/National level Foundation, is registered to give a platform for youths to showcase their talents in the field games & activities. The School Games & Activity Development Foundation can be divided into two sections: Activities and games. There are many indoor, outdoor, individual, group, and winter games. You can sing, dance, act, model, write, Scout and guide, health, social develop, and draw skills. School Games & Activity Development Foundation organizes from time to time international and unit-level events as well as championships.
School Games & Activity Development Foundation host Youth Festival competitions to showcase the hidden talents of youths. The School Games & Activity Development Foundation does not receive any grants or funds from the state or central governments. Therefore, they charge students a minimal entry/registration fee. This fee covers office expenses, venue booking, medals, trophys, certificates, official payment, transportation and officials, food, stay, and salary of office staff. Fees. School Games & Activity Development Foundation provides financial support for financial week students, but School Games & Activity Development Foundation does not claim that the certificate issued to them by their state association or School Games & Activity Development Foundation will aid the players in any sport or special quotas in jobs or admission. The benefits it offers in terms of job and admission are according to Govt. rules. Private sponsorship is an option to provide better opportunities for participation.
Shivam Thakur is an internationally-respected pistol shooter. He has also ventured into Sports facilitation, encouraging students to participate in various Sports. He is the Brand Ambassador for School Games and Activity Development Foundation in Bhutani Group. He is also a member of several sports foundations and bodies.
He also promotes many companies. He is a multi-talented athlete who is fully involved in cultural and sports activities from a young age. He has played Cricket at State and National levels under 16 teams and shooting at the International level. He was awarded medals and awards for his shooting in India, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
For his outstanding achievements in sport and his tireless work in spreading sports and cultural activities, he was awarded the Student Ratna Award and International Croma Award as well as Youth Award and Voda Award. He believes that “if you believe it, it will happen”.
He actively participates in Various Sports Federations. He tries to encourage students from all backgrounds to get involved in sports and cultural activities. SGADF was created by him to help children achieve their goals through the use of sports. He continues to work with the goal of ending the vicious circle of non-transparency in opportunity for privileged and underprivileged children.
